    The Barcol Hardness Tester is an indentation hardness tester, and most commonly referred to as a Barcol hardness tester is the Type 934-1, which is primarily used in the following two areas: One is the aluminum processing industry, used for testing pure aluminum, soft aluminum alloy, thicker aluminum alloy, such as aluminum alloy doors and Windows, curtain wall and so on, the relevant standard is the American standard ASTM B648. The second is applied to FRP industry, most FRP products domestic and abroad are required to test the Barcol hardness value, the relevant standard is ASTM D2583. In addition, the modified 935 hardness tester can be used to test softer plastics and very soft metals such as tin and lead, as well as hard wood such as flooring. Another variant, the 936, is used to test softer leather, rubber, linoleum, softwood wood, etc.
