Generally speaking, users of this kind of equipments would ask the manufacturer to test the Brinell hardness value one by one, and specifically stipulate 3000kgf test force and 10mm carbide alloy ball indenter, or 750kgf test force with 5mm carbide alloy ball indenter. The traditional Brinell hardness tester is mainly applied in lab because of its large volume, heavy weight, and high requirement of test condition.
At the end of 1990s, more and more petroleum machinery equipment accessories were exported, and there were more and more requirements for Brinell hardness testers.
